Maybe even more important is indeed the environmental aspect and how, once infrastructure is in place, they should be able to cut pollution by a lot. EVs are coming, whether you desire them or not.

1. Tesla Roadster
Tesla says that when the Roadster finally comes out, it will be the fastest car in the world. And it’s likely that it will be. It is expected to have 1300 bhp, over 1300 Nm of torque, and a 0-60 mph time of 1.9 seconds. It will also have a 620-mile range, which is a first. There are also four seats and a glass roof that can be taken off, so you can scare a whole family.
2. Maserati Granturismo Folgore
It doesn’t seem right to have an electric Maserati GranTurismo, but that’s what will happen in 2023. The Folgore (which means “lightning” in Italian) will have the same beautiful design as the flagship, but instead of a rumbling V8, it will have electric motors that can make 750bhp and 1350 NM of torque. But it will need it. The car will weigh 2,260kg, which is close to the weight of an SUV.
3. Polestar 3
Polestar pays attention to the small things. The 3’s roofline has been lowered and stretched, giving it a sporty look that makes it stand out from all the other cars in its class. Not only does the Q8 e-tron produce zero emissions on the road, but it’s also made in Audi’s high-tech factory in Brussels, which claims to be CO2-neutral. This will be Audi’s biggest as well as sportiest fully electric car. It will have just under 500bhp, but its 284-mile range is still pretty good considering how heavy it is.
5. Mercedes Eqe Suv
Mercedes is the only brand that can use serif fonts without being judged. It’s also one of the few car brands whose electric vehicles (EVs) look good. The EQE SUV has a curved body that flows nicely from front to back. It won’t make you weak in the knees or sick to your stomach, but it also won’t make you want to throw up. The best part is inside. With its quilted leather and well-placed touchscreen, you won’t want to leave the driver’s seat.
6. Volkswagen Id Vizzion
A VW ID. Vizzion has suicide doors. Why don’t more cars have doors that open outward? Whether or not it makes it to the market, this is how future VW electric vehicles will look. Recognition software opens the doors for you, augmented reality takes the place of the steering wheel and is projected onto the interior, and of course, this drives itself, taking you from point A to point B. This is a very real sign of the type of technology that will be around in the future. It might not be around in 2023.
7. Hyundai Ioniq 6
Hyundai says that the design of the Ioniq 6 was influenced by “iconic streamlined vehicles” from the 1920s and 1930s. But in reality, it looks like a cross between a Porsche 911 and a Mercedes CLS from the first generation. It will have an interior that looks like a concept car, mirrors with video screens, and seats made from used plastic bottles and trash from the ocean.
